Well, it only took one game into the season and we are already reminded just how little preseason means. Elfrid Payton – Starting PG? After struggling mightily during the preseason, Elfrid Payton seemingly ran away with the starting point guard job after putting together an impressive performance in the Knicks loss at San Antonio. Posting 11 points, 8 assists and …

While the sample size is small, both preseason games served to rise and dampen the Knicks expectations. There's a lot that will still play out in the final two games of preseason and the early season as the rotation solidifies. Anyone feeling upset is rightfully so because this is only after two preseason games; however, ignoring the output and patterns occurring with certain players on the floor is a disservice to the fans, and ultimately the players as well.

It’s been a busy summer around the NBA and a very busy one for the Knicks as well. While the Knicks missed out on their top target, it wasn’t necessarily bad. It might have been disappointing but it certainly didn’t cripple the franchise in any sort of manner. I’ll try to break down how the Knicks did this offseason and …

That’s all folks! The Knicks end the year as the worst team in basketball at 17-65 and have clinched the best lottery odds possible in the new system (14%) with hopes of drafting Zion Williamson. With the season done for a couple days now and playoffs beginning tomorrow, it’s a good time to review the Knicks season and lay the …

After last night’s win (yes, finally!), the Knicks stand at 11-47 heading into the All-Star break. The recently ended 18 game losing streak has dominated headlines lately and taken the attention away from just how well the young players for the Knicks are developing. And it’s not just the guys that were drafted or signed as undrafted, in the case …

From last game’s confrontation between THJ and Allonzo Trier, to Enes Kanter complaining again about playing time, lets look forward into what could be an active deadline for the Knicks, as well as what their place in the tank standings really means going into this summer. Officially, the Knicks have placed THJ, Courtney Lee and Enes Kanter on the trading …

Buckle up. February is fast approaching and the Knicks are not getting any better. The narratives have gotten old already. “The Knicks are rebuilding” “Tank for Williamson” “Frank will get better” “The Knicks are developing young players” “The Knicks are going to spend big in free agency” While all of those storylines are intriguing, not many of them drum up …

He wasn’t supposed to be here: an undrafted rookie out of the University of Arizona, Allonzo Trier has made a name for himself in under half a season in the NBA. His rise in the league has been astonishing, beginning with his signature slam vs the Hawks in his first game in The Garden and first game in the NBA. …
