Gotham FC newcomer Lynn Williams, acquired from the KC Current, added what became the winning goal in this match. More importantly, this was the first win for Gotham FC after being down at halftime since September 30,2017 when they pulled out a 4-3 victory over the Boston Breakers. To add an even more special touch to this road win, Gotham FC broke a 37 -game winless streak when being down at halftime.
