The use of cannabis-derived cannabinoids has shown promising results in a variety of conditions. These conditions range from chronic pain to spasticity and are often accompanied by mood, sleep, and immune system problems. In addition, research has shown that CBD can reduce anxiety and improve the recovery process.

The efficacy of CBD in the treatment of sport-related fatigue is not yet clear, but it has been shown to modulate the production of cortisol in humans, a key homeostatic hormone involved in the inflammatory response.
