The New York Mets are the most stressed fanbase in MLB, according to a new BetUS study that ranked stress levels of professional sports fans.
To conduct the research, BetUS pulled over 100,000 tweets and forums for each team and ran them through a tool called TensiStrength to determine the levels of stress and relaxation.

The New York Mets Are the Most Stressed Fanbase in MLB
Unsurprisingly, the New York Mets are the most agitated fan base in baseball, leading the board with 1 in 3 of the comments in their game threads discovered as stressed.
The Houston Astros are not far off the same stress score with 31%, whilst third place belongs comfortably to the Chicago White Sox with a score of 30%.
New York Jets and New York Giants Both Make the Top 10 for Most Stressed Fan Base in the NFL
In the NFL, the Jets took 4th place with 29% of stressed language detected.
Giants were ranked the seventh most stressed fans, with 27% of tweets and forums qualifying as stressed.
The Knicks Draw Alongside Hornets, Bucks, Raptors, and Rockets With a Stress-Score of 20% for NBA
The Knicks were ranked towards the end of the list in the NBA with a stress score of 20%.
The Wizards followed closely behind with 19%.
NY Rangers Tie for First Place as the Most Stressed Fan Base in the NHL at 29%
The NHL is known for its diehard fans, crossing the borders to have Canadian and American teams.
When it comes to the most passionate, nearly a third of the New York Rangers, Edmonton Oilers, St Louis Blues, and Winnipeg Jets are feeling worked up on gameday, all getting a score of 29% and tying for first place.
