Within the past few days, the New York Rangers have experienced multiple injuries. A total of five players were injured and it was a hard loss the Rangers had to take. The Rangers play the Philadelphia Flyers tonight with three of those players still injured and the team just came off a tough loss to the New Jersey Devils.

Artemi Panarin was one of those injured players and it was a huge scare to fans. Panarin was day-to-day with a lower-body injury he suffered last Wednesday. After missing two games, Panarin is confirmed to be back tonight playing again. This is great news as Panarin is one of our top players and without him, the team couldn’t connect.

K’Andre Miller was another injured player who will be back again tonight. Miller suffered an upper-body injury and it was unclear how this happened. Luckily, Miller will be back tonight against the Flyers.

Next on the injured list is Filip Chytil. Chytil suffered a lower-body injury at the end of January and has been out since. It was announced he’d be out for four to six weeks. This makes it possible for a return to be at the end of this month or early March. This injury was unfortunate considering Chytil started off to the season strong.

Another injured Blueshirt is defenseman Jack Johnson. Johnson suffered an injured groin at the end of January and has still been out. It seems there is a chance Johnson plays soon, but that is still unknown.

Lastly, defenseman Jacob Trouba has been injured with a broken thumb. Trouba will be out for four to six weeks. This injury is the most recent one as it occurred Tuesday night against the Devils. This is another huge loss for the team as Trouba is one of our better defenseman.

These are a lot of injuries the Rangers have to deal with. Luckily it seems all of these players are on the right track to being healthy soon.
