St. John’s moved to 2-0 in what is being called as a redemption year with a come from behind victory of Bowling Green at Carnesecca Arena.

Mustapha Heron lead all scorers with 26 and Shamorie Ponds scored 21 to help fuel the rally after halftime.

St. John’s came out firing early and jumped out to an early 7 point advantage. But Justin Turner wasn’t going away without a fight, hitting a 3 and driving to lane to help lead Bowling Green to the advantage at half time.

Justin Turner led Bowling Green with 24 points and Dylan Frye chipped in with 18 for the Falcons.
